An exciting Brand Manager (FMCG) job has just become available at one of the most respected FMCG firms based in Malaysia.

About the Brand Manager (FMCG) Role:
In this business critical role you will be responsible for the managing the marketing operations, brand equity and activation, brand communication custodian for existing and new brand launches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieves set objectives and goals for the assigned brand/category/segment in terms of market share, brand equity, sales volumes and value, and profitability
  • Formulates marketing plans and strategies, administers them, and recommends changes and improvements where necessary to ensure achievement of established goals/objectives within the budget
  • Manages A&P budget for brand\'s ATL communication
  • Integrates with customer marketing team to translate marketing strategy into executional go-to-market commercial action plans within given timeline
  • Analyses ongoing brand and consumer market research studies to formulate and implement appropriate marketing plans and programmes that reflect and adapt to changing market dynamics
  • Regularly provides brand and business review to senior management
  • Works effectively and efficiently with internal counterparts and external agencies/vendors
To succeed in the Brand Manager (FMCG) job, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-operatively with internal counterparts like supply chain, finance, customer development team.

Key Requirements:
  • Minimum of five years in consumer brand management in FMCG
  • Bachelor\'s degree with major in marketing or business administration
  • Solid experience in brand marketing in FMCG companies
  • Good understanding of FMCG dynamics in the Malaysia retail environment
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proactive and self-motivated team player with multiple levels within the organisation
  • Analytical mindset
  • Good user knowledge of MS Office Powerpoint, Excel and Word
  • Familiar with research programmes such as Nielsen/Kantar or equivalent
  • Involved with \xe2\x80\x9cdigital marketing"
