Role Description
We are seeking a full-time, on-site Brand & Social Media Marketing Executive to join our team based in Selayang, Selangor.
As a Brand & Social Media Marketing Executive, you will play a key role in strengthening Weng Cheong Electrical's brand presence and digital identity. You will be responsible for planning and executing marketing strategies, managing social media platforms, and creating engaging content to enhance visibility, engagement, and sales.
This role requires both creativity and strategic thinking, as you will collaborate closely with internal teams such as sales, e-commerce, and operations to ensure cohesive brand communication. You will also analyze campaign performance, monitor market trends, and continuously refine strategies to support business growth.
Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing, preferably in brand management, campaign execution, or social media management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of offline marketing (expos, roadshows, trade shows) and online marketing (social media platforms).
  • Highly creative, detail-oriented, and able to develop innovative marketing ideas and campaigns.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills to manage multiple campaigns, events, and projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in content creation, digital visuals, and marketing collaterals. Familiarity with Canva and CapCut is preferred.
  • Confident and comfortable being in front of the camera for videos, live streams, or promotional content.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively with internal teams.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to execute tasks independently while meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities
1. Brand Strategy & Management
  • ? Maintain and strengthen the company's brand identity across all channels and touchpoints, ensuring consistency in messaging, visuals, and tone.
  • ? Support the development and implementation of brand strategies, campaigns, and initiatives aligned with business objectives.
  • ? Oversee the creation and maintenance of brand assets, templates, and marketing guidelines to ensure internal consistency.
  • ? Monitor competitor branding and industry trends to identify opportunities for differentiation and brand enhancement.
  • ? Conduct periodic audits of marketing materials and visual assets to ensure compliance with brand standards.
  • ? Collaborate with internal teams to ensure brand integrity in all campaigns, events, and promotional activities.
2. Marketing Campaigns (Offline & Online)
  • ? Strategically plan, organize, and execute annual and seasonal marketing campaigns, including promotional campaigns, with emphasis on offline channels (in-store, showrooms, trade shows, expos) and online social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, XiaohongShu).
  • ? Develop creative campaign concepts, promotional ideas, and content strategies aligned with brand objectives, product launches, and seasonal initiatives.
  • ? Coordinate timelines, key messages, and campaign deliverables with internal teams to ensure campaigns are executed on schedule.
  • ? Prepare and oversee marketing materials such as banners, posters, digital visuals, and product displays to support campaign objectives.
  • ? Analyze campaign results using engagement metrics, customer feedback, and sales performance to evaluate effectiveness and ROI.
  • ? Compile post-campaign reports with actionable insights and recommendations for future campaigns.
3. Social Media Management
  • ? Manage and grow the company's social media presence across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and XiaohongShu (XHS) to strengthen brand visibility.
  • ? Create, schedule, and publish engaging content, including posts, stories, short videos, social media ad creatives, and captions that reflect the brand's voice and campaign goals.
  • ? Develop and maintain content calendars that align with marketing campaigns, product launches, and events.
  • ? Track performance metrics such as reach, engagement, follower growth, and trends to continuously optimize content strategy.
  • ? Collaborate with the marketing teams to ensure visuals, messaging, and content strategies support campaign objectives and reflect brand identity.
  • ? Monitor audience interactions and respond professionally to maintain positive engagement and community trust.
4. Events, Expos & Roadshows
  • ? Plan and develop marketing initiatives for expos, roadshows, trade shows, and showroom promotions to maximize customer engagement and brand visibility.
  • ? Create pre-event content such as promotional videos, social media teasers, and marketing materials to generate interest and drive attendance.
  • ? Conceptualize and implement on-site marketing activities during events, including demonstrations, interactive displays, and engagement campaigns to attract and retain customers.
  • ? Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that marketing messaging, visuals, and branding are aligned with company standards.
  • ? Monitor and gather customer feedback, engagement, and participation during events to evaluate success and identify improvement areas.
  • ? Document events through photography, videography, and reporting for internal reference, marketing analysis, and social media content.
5. Market Research & Analytics
  • ? Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor strategies, and consumer behavior relevant to marketing initiatives.
  • ? Collect and analyze data from campaigns, social media, and events to measure marketing effectiveness.
  • ? Prepare detailed reports summarizing insights, outcomes, and actionable recommendations.
  • ? Track customer feedback and engagement to optimize future campaigns and content.
  • ? Stay updated on marketing innovations, tools, platforms, and industry trends to enhance execution and strategy.
