Job Description


PURPOSE Plan and develop strategies for effective product branding and communication to ensure market penetration in untapped markets as well as demographic penetration to gain higher market share which in return brings in higher revenue for the company. ACCOUNTABILITIES 1. Identify and develop branding and communication strategies for effective market penetration in the prepaid, corporate, and post-paid markets and new demographics including OTT VAS to gain higher market share. 2. Develop processes and methods to track, monitor and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns rolled out to ensure maximum impact and returns of marketing investments. 3. Follow up on customer complaints and feedback to develop more effective brand communication rollouts on products and services which will enhance customer confidence and loyalty to the brand. 4. Provide customers a new targeted advertising experience through developing, articulating and effectively communicating a compelling brand story to differentiate the organization\'s unique proposition. 5. Direct and control the marketing and branding infrastructure to ensure it can support the business requirement and lead the team to ensure they formulate proactive churn prevention, retention programs and track satisfaction index to optimize customer relationships. 6. Liaise closely and collaborate with peers to ensure smooth integration of all elements in branding and communication that are aligned with product development and marketing initiatives to achieve overall company goals. 7. Develop relevant integrated marketing communications programs from strategy through execution to support the strategic goals of the business. 8. Work closely with internal and external resources to develop breakthrough creative and strategic communications programs to support the company\'s businesses, focusing on cost effectiveness. 9. Develop, plan, and execute targeted communications programs or competitive messages to support key product launches and enable the sales force builds preference for Celcom brands. 10. Lead, guide, develop, coach, and motivate subordinates to enhance work commitment and capability level to deliver up to expectations. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS/COMPETENCIES 1. Graduate in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related disciplines. 2. Should preferably have 15 years relevant experience and strong credentials in branding and communication. 3. Possess good insights into changing demographics in the industry. TECHNICAL & BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES/ SKILLS 1. Strategic thinker who can translate sometimes complex business goals and objectives into actionable, impactful communications programs 2. Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to drive multiple projects 3. Resourceful and adaptable 4. Problem solving and decision-making skills 5. Creative 6. Strong negotiation and communications skills (written and spoken)
