Job Description

We are seeking a

strategic, creative, and data-driven Marketing Manager

to grow our

local durian brand

across all touchpoints --

online and offline

.

This role covers

branding, marketing, PR, influencer strategy, community building, and customer retention

, with a strong focus on the

China tourism market

,

retail stores

,

e-commerce platforms

, and

digital marketing (SEO, social media, performance marketing)

. You will lead the marketing team and manage the full marketing P&L.

Key Responsibilities



1. Brand Strategy & Positioning



Develop and implement a

clear, competitive, and engaging brand strategy

aligned with business objectives. Build and grow a vibrant brand community to strengthen brand loyalty. Ensure

consistency in messaging, tone, and visual identity

across all channels (online & offline). Identify new brand-building opportunities and strategic partnerships to expand market reach.

2. Online & Offline Marketing Campaigns



Spearhead

product launches

,

seasonal promotions

, and

in-store activations

that emotionally connect with customers, especially Chinese tourists. Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across

retail, tourism touchpoints, e-commerce platforms

, and digital channels. Manage the full campaign lifecycle -- from concept & planning to execution and post-campaign analysis. Collaborate closely with sales, retail, product, and PR teams to ensure campaign effectiveness. Utilize

SEO, content marketing, and performance marketing

to drive traffic and conversions.

3. Marketing Calendar, Budget & Growth Analysis



Develop and manage the

annual marketing calendar

,

A&P budget

, and

360 marketing strategies

. Analyse

market trends

,

consumer insights

, and

competitor activities

to identify growth opportunities and optimise marketing performance.

4. PR, Media & Influencer Management



Build and maintain strong relationships with

media, influencers, and business partners

through product seeding, soft lauch, official launch, promotion, exhibition, media events, advertising initiatives, and collaborations. Develop effective

PR strategies

to grow brand exposure locally and internationally. Oversee influencer marketing initiatives and brand ambassador programs to boost visibility and credibility.

5. Content & Creative Direction



Collaborate with content and creative teams to plan impactful content strategies across social media, website, print, and in-store materials. Provide creative direction to internal teams and freelancers to produce

high-quality, brand-aligned content

that maximises exposure and engagement.

6. Customer Retention & CRM



Lead strategies to

retain and re-engage customers

, including

EDM campaigns ?Email Direct Marketing campaigns?

,

loyalty programs

, and

reactivation initiatives

. Work closely with sales and operations to enhance the overall customer experience and drive repeat purchases.

Requirements



Bachelor's Degree

in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.

Minimum 5-8 years of proven experience

in

brand management, marketing

, or

retail category management

, preferably within

exhibition, retail, or innovative marketing environments

. Strong understanding of

China tourism market

,

digital marketing strategies (SEO/SEM, social media)

, and

e-commerce platforms

. Demonstrated ability to plan and execute

new marketing strategies

that drive brand growth and customer engagement. Excellent

strategic thinking

,

creative direction

, and

team leadership

skills. Proficiency in English;

Mandarin proficiency is a strong advantage

. Comfortable working in a

fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM11,000.00 per month
