The role

We are seeking a talented Leasing & Building Management professional to join our thriving team at EG Mall. In this full-time role based in Penampang, Sabah, you will play a crucial part in managing our commercial property portfolio and driving business growth.

Job Responsibilities:

Handle leasing activities, including sourcing tenants, negotiating lease terms, preparing tenancy agreements, and managing lease renewals. Conduct site visits, unit viewings, and coordinate with prospective tenants and agents. Maintain accurate records of lease agreements, rental payments, and tenancy documents. Coordinate and oversee building maintenance, inspections, and ensure all facilities meet company and safety standards. Liaise with contractors, vendors, and service providers to schedule and monitor repair and maintenance works. Respond to tenant inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a timely and professional manner. Ensure compliance with all legal, safety, and building regulations. Prepare regular reports on occupancy status, rental income, and building operations. Assist in budgeting and cost control related to leasing and building expenses. Work closely with the legal, finance, and administrative teams to ensure smooth leasing and operational processes.

Job Requirements:

Possess a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Property Management, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 2 to 3 years of working experience in building management, leasing, or property operations. Good understanding of local property laws and tenancy regulations. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and property management systems. Able to multitask, work independently, and demonstrate a high level of responsibility and professionalism.
