Job Description

Responsibilities:

Oversee the general maintenance and upkeep of the company's building, facilities, and equipment. Perform routine inspections to identify repair needs and potential safety or maintenance issues. Coordinate and carry out repair works for electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning, and mechanical systems. Monitor and follow up with external vendors or contractors for scheduled servicing, maintenance, and repair work. Plan and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and prolong equipment lifespan. Ensure all maintenance work is performed according to safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies. Maintain records of maintenance activities, repair costs, and service schedules. Identify cost-effective solutions for repair, replacement, and service contracts. Respond promptly to facility-related emergencies and ensure issues are resolved efficiently. Support improvement projects related to building infrastructure, energy efficiency, and workplace safety. Provide technical support for company events or facility setups when required.

Requirements

Certificate or Diploma in Building Maintenance, Electrical, Mechanical, or a related technical field. Minimum 2 years of experience in facility or building maintenance, preferably in a corporate or industrial environment. Hands-on skills in electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning, and general repair work. Good understanding of preventive maintenance planning and vendor coordination. Strong problem-solving ability with attention to detail and a proactive attitude. Able to work independently and manage multiple maintenance tasks simultaneously. Basic computer skills for maintenance record keeping and scheduling. Good communication and teamwork skills.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM1,800.00 per month
