Job Description

Responsibilities:

To perform ON & OFF building M&E operation system. Assemble, install, test, and maintain electric or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools. Attend/response to breakdown/emergency calls from tenants, customer and management promptly at all time. Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem or report to your immediate superior within the same working day. Inspect electrical systems, equipment and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes and report accordingly to Facility Manager. Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system. Direct and train other technician to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Weekly update/configure BMS system to ensure buildings facilities, mechanical, and electrical equipment for comfort, safety, and efficiency being controlled, monitor, optimized and reported. Coordinates with assigned Chargeman and/or other trades for the purpose of completing projects and work orders efficiently. Perform planned Preventive Maintenance as scheduled (i.e.: air-cond, lighting & signages, sewage piping, exhaust & grease traps, fountain etc.). Walk through inspection shall include building defect, lightings & signages and housekeeping. To assist in Handyman's job such as painting, plumbing, plastering etc. Any other assignment that may be assigned to you accordingly at the discretion of the company from time to time.

Requirements:

Candidates must possess at least a SKM, Wireman (PW), Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Engineering, Engineering in Electrical, Mechatronic, Electromechanical or equivalent. At least 3 year(s) of working experience in Building Maintenance. Required language(s): English & Bahasa Malaysia. Willing to learn with positive attitude. Able to maintain and troubleshooting/repair electrical/mechanical problems on the machines and building facilities. Available to work shift. Applicant must be willing to work in Melaka. Full time position available.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM1,800.00 per month
