Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement sales strategies to promote Merlin Asia's grocery products across the regions in West Malaysia. Identify, engage, and establish new business opportunities by finding markets and opening new sales channels. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including general trade customers, supermarket chain outlets, and distributors. Explore and expand the company's presence in various retail sectors and regions, identifying opportunities for growth. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure product availability, promotional support, and timely deliveries. Monitor sales performance and market trends to provide insights and recommendations for growth. Conduct regular market visits and sales calls to build rapport and close deals. Provide exceptional customer service and address client inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.

Requirements:

Proven experience in sales, preferably in the grocery, FMCG, or retail industry. Strong knowledge of the general trade, supermarket chains, and distributor networks across West Malaysia. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Self-driven, with a strong sense of ownership and commitment to achieving sales targets. Willingness to travel across West Malaysia. A valid driving license is required.
