Whether you want a career that could take you to the top, or simply take you in an exciting new direction, HSBC offers opportunities, support and rewards that will take you further.Global Finance aims to provide HSBC with a professional, effective and responsive finance service that operates at optimal cost and employs a common and transparent global model.We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of Business Administrator Executive.Principal ResponsibilitiesThe role of the Executive Assistant is to provide comprehensive secretarial, business & change management combined with excellent administrative support to the Senior Executive [Chief Finance Officer (CFO)] through excellent planning, organizing and monitoring. The Job Holder will coordinate, support & lead Finance related events, communication including administrative and change activities, and support various Finance tasks where required.The Job Holder is expected to develop and maintain close working relationships with all sub-finance functions, the business change management and function across the Bank and able to communicate with all levels of staff from different cultural background, being expected to work relatively independently.Impact on the Business

  • Planning, organizing & monitoring the CFO and Global & Regional Finance members for their visit to Malaysia calendar & commitments schedule ensuring timely and effective business partnering.
  • Provides comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the CFO and her direct reports.
  • To assist in business & change management projects as assigned.
  • Assisting CFO in coordinating strategic planning matters with businesses.
  • Assisting CFO in executing CFO\xe2\x80\x99s responsibility in monitoring /ensuring various compliance matters are adhered to by Finance staff eg completion of mandatory e-learning by the team.
  • Manages the CFO\xe2\x80\x99s appointments and engagement with senior management, regulators, rating agencies, analyst and fund managers, staff and customers as appropriate. Organise staff exchanges and take minutes for follow up action.
  • Support the CFO in the management of key people engagement tasks (eg end to end arrangement for townhall, exchange including slides preparation, minutes taking etc).
  • Support the CFO in various Finance department administrative matters to able her to focus and effectively carry out her role.
  • Support CFO in Finance projects as CFO sees it appropriate.
Requirements
  • A minimum requirement of Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99 Degree is needed for the role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skill.
  • A couple of years (2-5 years) work experience in Finance related functions is added value.
  • Proficiency and previous experience in Event & Project/Change Management.
  • Proficiency in EXCEL, MS Word and Power Point.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
