Job Description

You will be part of the Supply Chain Front Line IT organization, collaborating with Supply Chain PPG business function to clarify and collect business requirements, assuring IT products and services are aligned with business needs. You will focus on the Supply Chain IT systems and will mainly support requests from the plants in Asia Pacific region. Collaboration with other regions could be required, depending on ongoing projects. You should be comfortable working remotely and proficient in using virtual collaboration tools to communicate effectively with colleagues and managers. You will report directly to IT Manager, Operations Front Line IT.

Key Responsibilities

You will work with Connect PPG Phase 2 (China) team to CPU (Cost Per Unit) enhancements related to SAP S4 implementation. You will collaborate to the expansion of the Operational data analytics tools, You will help and facilitate the adoption of IBP (integrated Business Planning) process and tool, You will maintain and support some PPG global and regional custom applications, You will explore, discover and promote AI/ML solutions together with Supply Chain business. You will become business or function specialist, can be technology generalists or specialists, providing an array of services such as business process improvement, priority-setting facilitation, project definition or design, and broker IT and contract services

Qualifications

Degree or higher education in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, Engineering, any related discipline or equivalent experience. Minimum of 3 years of IT or a related discipline experience Analytical and conceptual skills. Strong oral and written communication skills, including technical writing Must have strong systems and process orientation. Fluent communication in the English language. Chinese language knowledge preferred, but not mandatory. Experience implementing and supporting ERP, advanced supply chain planning, and data analytics systems is preferred.
