We are currently seeking a Business Analyst to join our team in Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur (MY-14), Malaysia (MY).

Job Scope

We are looking for individuals who are able to:

-Responsible for identifying and documenting requirements and analyzing requirements from a business perspective.
-Define current and future operational scenarios (processes, models, use cases) and work with users and technical designers to ensure proper translation of business requirements to IT solution requirements.
-Identify/Analyze/Document business requirements.
-Reengineer business processes and rules if necessary.
-Conduct walkthrough of requirements and preparation of documentation for users\' sign-off.
-Test and implement technical solutions. Prepare application test plans and conduct unit, integration and system testing.
-Analyze and validate system requirements and existing business processes and information systems. Assist in the development and implementation of new programs and/or modifications of existing applications.
-Test, debug, document and implement software applications according to standards.
-Evaluate and provide technical solutions to application development problems.
-Follow project plan or scheduled release plan for completion of planning out work activities to complete the release/plan. Maintain a risk/change management plan to keep plan in scope with assigned tasks.
-Attend meeting with project team to follow up with the outstanding issues, functional requirement clarification, modules delivery timeline and test environment preparation.
-Prepare systems documentation & perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

-Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree of Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent disciplines.
-Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in software engineering and application management function over a diverse set of platforms including MS SQL Server, Oracle PL/SQL and on .NET Framework using VB, VBScript, ASP, JavaScript.
-Involved in application development & support with J2EE technologies: Java, JSP, JMS, JAXB, JDB.
-Familiar with basic Unix/ Linux commands and shell scripting. \xe2\x80\xa2 Analytical and creative problem solving.
-Resourceful, independent, good team player and result oriented.
-Proficient in both oral and written English.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
-1 to 3 years working on the Insurance industry preferred.
