Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering & Analysis

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, document, and analyze business requirements for IT projects and initiatives
  • Conduct workshops, interviews, and focus groups to understand current processes and future needs
  • Create detailed functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications for development teams
Process Improvement
  • Analyze existing business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for optimization
  • Recommend technology solutions and process improvements that align with business strategy
  • Document current state (AS-IS) and future state (TO-BE) processes using appropriate modeling techniques
  • Develop business cases and ROI analyses for proposed solutions
Stakeholder Management
  • Act as the primary liaison between business units and IT teams
  • Facilitate communication and manage expectations across diverse stakeholder groups
  • Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to leadership and stakeholders
  • Build strong relationships with business partners to understand their strategic objectives
Solution Design & Implementation
  • Collaborate with technical teams to design solutions that meet business requirements
  • Participate in solution architecture discussions and provide business perspective
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by developing test scenarios and validating results
  • Ensure solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standards
Data Analysis & Reporting
  • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions
  • Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings effectively
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure solution effectiveness
  • Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives and decision-making
Documentation & Knowledge Management
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation including requirements, process flows, and system specifications
  • Create user guides, training materials, and knowledge base articles
  • Ensure documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant stakeholders
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of BA practices and methodologies
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • 8-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in an FMCG environment
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering IT projects from requirements through implementation
Technical Skills
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques (process modeling, use cases, user stories)
  • Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence)
Professional Skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proactively manage and collaborate with key stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional certification such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional), PMI-PBA, or similar
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments with certification (CSM, CSPO)
  • Knowledge of enterprise systems (SAP, SFCC,etc.)
  • Exposure to emerging technologies (AI, automation, cloud solutions)
  • Experience in the beauty, retail, or consumer goods industry
