Job Purpose

  • Provide business intelligence to produce Plan, Make, Deliver Power BI reports to ISC with support from GBS.
  • Coordinate and roll out digital agenda and execution for Plan and possibly Make
  • Make sure end-to-end digitalization of our supply chain is made visible in control towers, sites, warehouses and hubs.
  • Add value to the business environment by driving improvements and standardizations of the planning processes in collaboration with stakeholders, internal and external to the business.
  • Provide guidance, support and organize training for the team.
  • Enable and structure knowledge and best practice sharing. Setup / increase quality of governance structure and performance management (MDI)
  • Effectively plan, train, develop, GET (graduate engineering trainees) in Power BI and process improvement projects.
  • Able to be the planning process, SAP masterdata management, tooling & system expert and coordinator of the region.
Key Accountabilities

Planning Processes, Masterdata management and tooling & system usage
  • Own the setup, standardization and maintenance of planning reporting / control tower and tooling & system usage within planning team.
  • Setup and own knowledge sharing structure / platform (like share point) with manuals, standard operating procedures (SOP\'s), video\'s etc. explaining our process standards and own once it\'s up and running.
  • Setup and own onboarding program for new employees in our department
  • Setup clear governance structure (standard KPIs, MDI and control plans) to ensure process adherence and performance management.
  • Be the driving force behind best practices / standards sharing in the SC planning processes, master data management, tooling and system usage.
  • Proactively connect with all relevant stakeholders (manager, management team, COE, deploy team and planners) to update and be up to date about latest changes / developments.
Coaching / training & support
  • Drive capability improvements within the team by providing and/or organizing/coordinating training regarding planning processes, masterdata management & system usage for the planning team.
  • Support the team by acting as super user / expert for Power BI reporting, SAP masterdata, tooling & system usage related questions/issues.
Projects & Improvements
  • Drive/ensure business driven continuous improvement of planning processes, masterdata management, tooling & systems in close collaboration with project managers, deployment team and or planning COE.
  • Learn Power BI reports from other regions within Akzo Nobel and adapt it for South Asia region, create Power BI reports for SA regions where necessary, with support from GBS
  • Drive alignment / standardization within team and across functions in planning and master data processes and system usage
  • Together with manager align with COE on priorities and newest process, MDM, tooling & system improvements coming from their side.
  • Lead / Contribute to CI projects with process, tooling and systems expertise.
Experience
  • University Education (e.g., Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Economics, Business Administration or other relevant discipline) with Degree or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience in a Supply Chain Continuous Improvement Analyst role or Supply Planning role.
  • Analytical skills and results-oriented
  • Experience with SAP-APO, ECC, Power BI and/or other systems
  • Skills in SQL, Macros
  • Experience in Supply Planning, Material Planning and/or Inventory Management
  • Takes ownership, is pragmatic and has a \xe2\x80\x9ccan do\xe2\x80\x9d mentality to support the planning operations.
  • Works structured and autonomous.
  • Is able to build relationships with stakeholders at multiple levels in the organization.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Multi-country experience and fluent in English. Understanding and sensitivity to different cultural behaviours. Mobility as some international travel will be required.
