As a Business Analyst, you will act as the bridge between our clients (banks, financial institutions) and our development team. You will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements, ensuring the product meets regulatory and operational needs in the banking environment.
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with stakeholders from banks and financial institutions to understand loan origination workflows, credit evaluation, compliance, and disbursement processes.
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, workflows, and use cases (BRS, SRS, SDS).
Translate business needs into functional specifications and system design for the development team.
Conduct gap analysis to identify process improvements, risks, and regulatory impacts.
Support project managers in planning, progress tracking, and stakeholder communication.
Validate and review functional deliverables to ensure alignment with requirements.
Facilitate workshops, requirement walkthroughs, and UAT sessions with clients.
Collaborate with QA team to define test cases and acceptance criteria.
Ensure documentation is clear, comprehensive, and traceable across all project stages.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business, or related field.
3+ years' experience as a Business Analyst in the banking or financial services sector.
Strong knowledge of loan origination systems, credit approval processes, and regulatory compliance in Malaysia.
Hands-on experience preparing requirement documents (BRS, SRS, SDS).
Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written & verbal).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams (developers, architects, testers, project managers).

Contract length: 24 months
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
