We are hiring for Business Analyst/ Financial Analyst !

Summary

The Business Analyst/Financial Analyst is responsible for analyzing business performance, evaluating financial data, and supporting project planning and execution through data-driven insights. This role bridges business, finance, and project teams to ensure decisions are supported by accurate analysis, forecasts, and performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Analysis

- Collect, analyze, and interpret business data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.

- Support project teams with business case preparation, feasibility studies.

- Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and reports for management review.

- Assist in identifying process inefficiencies and propose data-backed solutions.

2. Financial Analysis

- Perform financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting for ongoing and upcoming projects.

- Conduct variance analysis to track financial performance against budgets and forecasts.

- Support strategic decision-making through scenario analysis and cost-benefit evaluations.

- Prepare financial reports, and presentations for management and stakeholders.

3. Project & Data Analysis

- Provide analytical support throughout the project lifecycle -- from initiation to post-implementation review.

- Manage and interpret large datasets from SQL.

- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives align with financial and business goals.

- Monitor project performance metrics and provide early warning on potential risks or overruns.

4. Reporting & Stakeholder Communication

- Prepare concise and insightful business and financial reports for management.

- Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Collaborate closely with Finance, Project Management, and Operations teams.

Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Statistics, or related field. Professional certification (e.g., CFA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is an added advantage. Minimum 5 years of experience in business analysis, financial analysis, or project analytics roles. Experience with financial modeling, project costing, and business intelligence tools preferred. Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, financial modeling) and Power BI/Tableau. Knowledge of SQL, data analytics tools is a plus. Strong communication and presentation abilities. Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
