An established manufacturing company supplying products to the shipping sector is seeking a Business Demand Analyst. In this job, you will manage the demand and sales forecast for material requirement with accordance to the needs for the client. About the Business Demand Analyst Role:
In this position, you will be in charge of managing the liaising and forecasting of demand requirement at designated ports/hubs to ensure a continuous and smooth replenishment rates to maintain and strengthen brand positioning within the industry. Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain the demand plan for statistical forecast through confirmation with the customer PICs
• Maintain date related to the demand forecast to include historical data, demand sensing date, and forecast model parameters
• Work closely with customer PIC and purchasing team to be familiar with routes, potential destinations, bunkering schedules and product lead time
• Track and manage customer stock levels and replenishment needs
• Lead collaborations with finance on the commercial aspects of the demand plan to identify the gaps within the financial plan and to proactively brain storm on potential issues that may arise and design action plans
• Further develop networking with external stakeholders to expand business boundaries and build suitable competitive intelligence insights
• Coordinate with internal CS, Logistics and local service providers to manage stocks and maintain healthy supply levels and update supply data in real time to manage upcoming forecasts
• Plan and expand the business with new bunkering/stocking locations

To succeed in the Business Demand Analyst role, you will need to have strong hands-on experience with demand planning, customer management and two-way communication skills to provide consistent and smooth material readiness for the business continuity. Key Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain or related field of study
• Five years of work experience in demand planning function within manufacturing industries
• Must have SAP experience
• Knowledge of ERP or MRP and Power BI Tools
• Strong analytical skills, influential, operations process driven and focused on accuracy
• Able to resolve conflicts, strong sense of urgency, proactive and possess the foresight to plan ahead for the business
• Excellent interpersonal skills, strong stakeholder management capability to communicate effectively with other functional heads
