Job Description

The Business Development Intern will support the Business Development team in identifying new business opportunities, conducting market research, preparing proposals, and maintaining client relationships. This internship provides hands-on exposure to sales strategies, client engagement, and business growth activities in a professional working environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in identifying new business opportunities, potential clients, and market segments. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support business development strategies. Support the preparation of business proposals, quotations, and presentations. Assist in maintaining and updating client databases, CRM systems, and sales records. Follow up with potential and existing clients via email or phone under supervision. Help organize and attend client meetings, events, and business networking activities. Coordinate with internal departments (marketing, operations, finance) for project support. Prepare basic sales reports, progress updates, and documentation. Support administrative tasks related to business development and sales operations. Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor related to business growth initiatives.

Job Requirements

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma / Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or related fields. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to learn and interest in sales, marketing, and business development. Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Basic knowledge of market research or data analysis is an advantage. Positive attitude, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and in a team. Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional languages are a plus.

Pay: RM500.00 - RM1,000.00 per month
