Position: Business Development and Sales Specialist Job Type: Contract Job Summary: As a Business Development and Sales Specialist for Leadapreneur, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding our client base. You will be responsible for identifying and pursuing business opportunities, establishing and nurturing client relationships, and promoting Leadapreneur products and services. Your efforts will contribute to the success and growth of our organisation in a competitive financial technology landscape. Job Responsibilities: Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and competitive offerings. Analyse data and industry reports to identify opportunities for growth and market penetration. Business Development: Discover and initiate connections with prospective clients and partners across various sectors, including innovation, banking, fintech, insurance, insurtech, and beyond. Develop and implement strategies to expand the customer base and increase revenue. Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to establish and strengthen business relationships. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and solutions to their financial technology requirements. Sales and Revenue Generation: Develop and execute sales plans and strategies to achieve revenue targets. Negotiate and close deals, including contracts and agreements, ensuring profitability and compliance with regulatory standards. Product Knowledge: You should have a strong grasp of our innovation offerings, which include: Repeatable Innovation: Enabling sustainable innovation culture. Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and submit regular reports on sales activities, client interactions, and market insights. Maintain accurate records of client communications and sales progress. Job Requirements: Proven experience in business development and corporate sales (added advantage if within the banking and fintech sector), with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets Able to converse fluently in English, or other local languages is an added advantage. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively convey complex information to clients and colleagues. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess market trends and identify opportunities. Familiarity with innovation, banking, fintech, insurance and insurtech knowledge will be an added advantages Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and Slack.
