Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Sales
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the
contract logistics, warehousing, and distribution
sectors.
Build and maintain relationships with potential clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
Develop customized logistics solutions to meet client needs and drive revenue growth.
Lead contract negotiations, proposal development, and presentations to prospective clients.
Achieve assigned revenue and profit targets on a monthly and annual basis.
2. Strategic Planning & Market Expansion
Develop and implement annual business development plans aligned with company objectives.
Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities.
Monitor and analyze sales performance and prepare regular progress reports.
Support management in long-term strategic initiatives for business expansion.
3. Client Relationship & Account Management
Serve as the primary contact for key clients to ensure high satisfaction and business continuity.
Coordinate with internal teams to deliver seamless operational execution and customer service.
Build long-term partnerships by providing value-added logistics solutions and support.
4. Collaboration & Communication
Work closely with internal teams, including Operations, Warehouse, Transportation, and Finance, to ensure alignment and service excellence.
Act as liaison between clients, suppliers, landlords, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain smooth communication flow.
Represent the company at exhibitions, trade shows, and networking events to promote its services.
5. Performance & Flexibility
Track and manage sales pipelines, forecasting revenue and profitability for each opportunity.
Work five days per week with flexibility to accommodate customer schedules.
Travel locally and internationally when required for business development activities.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in
Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration
, or related disciplines.
Experience:
Minimum
5 years of working experience
in
Contract Logistics or Supply Chain
business development, warehousing, or transportation operations.
Proven track record of securing new business and achieving sales targets.
Knowledge:
Strong understanding of contract logistics operations, warehouse management, transportation planning, and customer solutions design.
Skills & Competencies
Excellent
communication, presentation, and negotiation
skills.
Strong analytical, planning, and organizational abilities with high attention to detail.
Proficient in
Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM systems
.
Proficiency in
English
is mandatory;
Mandarin or Malay
is an advantage.
Independent, proactive, and result-oriented with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Dynamic, self-motivated, and persistent in achieving business goals.
Additional Information
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday (flexible based on customer needs)
Travel:
Occasional regional travel required
Remuneration:
Competitive salary package with attractive incentives and allowances
