This position is for one of our investee companies and this position is based in Chemor, Perak . Company Profile The company is a leading Malaysian palm-based phytonutrients manufacturer located in Perak. It is one of the leading suppliers of phytonutrients throughout the world, with customers in the United States, European Union, and Asia comprising key players within the nutraceuticals value chain including the pharmaceutical, dietary supplement, functional foods, cosmetics, and animal nutrition sector . Business Development Executive Responsibilities Oversee the sales and marketing activities in specific regions as assigned by the Company. Coordinate and support the Sales and Marketing teams within their respective regions. Monitor market trends and provide feedback to the Marketing and Sales Managers. Collaborate with distributors and ensure alignment with the Company\'s strategies and goals. Responsible for managing key accounts in specific regions or territories. These Key accounts include distributors and direct customers. Builds and maintains relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners. Develops territory distribution plans, key account plans and strategies to maximize sales and customer satisfaction. Identifies upselling and cross-selling opportunities. Collaborates with the Marketing team to align marketing efforts with key accounts. Responsible for direct sales and customer acquisition. Conducts market research and identifies potential customers. Develops and maintains a sales pipeline. Presents product information, conducts demonstrations, and negotiates contracts. Provides excellent customer service and after-sales support. Requirements Minimum of 2 years experience in Business development/Sales role Proven client and customer account management skills Strong business acumen Experienced in written and verbal persuasion skills, analytical, pricing & contract negotiations Pre-existing customer/distributor network is a plus Food and Science Nutrition, Dietitian, Biotechnology background is preferred Proficient in Mandarin - Speaking and writing
