Position : Business Development Executive (Johor Bahru - Senai)

Reporting To : Branch Manager & Assistant Business Development Manager
Subordinates : NilRequirements :
1. College /University degree/Diploma or equivalent qualifications with minimum 2 years marketing experience in the forwarding industry preferably have good contacts with Airlines and Shipping Lines.2. Must be matured, self-motivated, proactive, aggressive and result oriented.3. Must be computer literate (Words, Excel, PowerPoint) with good communication skill.4. Ability to write and converse well in English and Bahasa Malaysia.5. Good general knowledge and some basic knowledge in customs procedures and international business.6. Pleasant personality and possess own car transport and hand-phone.Major Responsibilities / Authorities :
1. Secure new customers, service existing customers, attend to customer\'s request & ensure customer\'s satisfaction.
2. Prepare quotations pertaining to Airfreight, Seafreight, Trucking, Warehousing, etc according to customer\'s requirement.
3. Sent sales leads to overseas group offices and agents to generate additional businesses overseas.
4. Secure R/O-Import and prepare S/I for all nominated inbound shipments for both air and ocean.
5. Correspond and communicate with overseas group offices and agents via e-mail, telephone and fax pertaining to sales inquiries and information feedbacks on rates and shipment status.
6. Requisition and negotiation of rates from Airlines, Shipping Lines, coloaders and NVOCC.
7. Co-ordinate and provide seamless information feedbacks to/from our customer service and operation staff on any special arrangement requested by/offered to customers to ensure smooth and excellent service.
8. Market feedbacks.
9. Close follow-ups and securing of debtors payment & to submit Credit Application to Branch Manager for each new customer secured when term is requested.
10. To raise Sales Reports and write up profile of every new prospective customer visited. Every month to submit Monthly Sales Report.
11. Plan for quarterly sales visit to the Northern and Southern region of Penang Sales Territory.
