As the Business Development Lead, within 24 months you will deliver innovative projects for Supply Chain (SC) Delivery which will be operationalized by other, you will lead the ideas generation and conceptualization of these projects, working hand in hand with your other colleagues in SC Delivery.

• Understand the needs of your customer and take a lead role in developing new business proposals and presentations that nurture opportunities and partnerships.
• Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives to encompass a growing business leading into the future.
• Research and identify new business opportunities - including new growth areas, trends, partnerships, business models, products, and services.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams across SMEP to ensure coordinated and smooth implementation of these projects that support the overall business.
• Engage with external partners and government agencies (as required) to build strong partnerships which would deliver the best value for SMEP.
• Provide periodic updates to senior management/DRB on the maturity of each project.

What do we need from you?

• Deep and proven experience in supply chain management especially in warehousing or supply base management.
• Able to communicate clearly and effectively in business language, with good business partnering skills.
• Able to translate strategy, not only to deliver cost competitiveness outcomes for Upstream Malaysia but ensuring those outcomes are aligned to Shell\xe2\x80\x99s Powering Progress aspirations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to manage multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to support the presentation of project status, risks, issues, and decisions that need to be made to the Company\'s decision-makers, and other internal and external stakeholders.
• Interpersonal skills for building and developing relationships with clients.
• Teamworking skills and a collaborative approach to work
• The ability to multitask and prioritize your workload.
• Project management and organizational skills
• A flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
• Willing to be assigned to Labuan Supply Base.
