Business Development Manager - APAC - Pharmaceutical Equipment Our client is a European middle-size company manufacturing equipment used mostly by pharmaceutical companies worldwide. They recently opened an office in Kuala Lumpur and are currently looking for a Business Development Manager to cover the APAC region with a focus on Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and China. The new joiner will work in pairs with the Managing Director APAC. Main Responsibilities: Business development from scratch in the APAC region with a focus on Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and China; Leading day-to-day direct sales operations on assigned markets; Management and selection of distributors across the region; Developing long term partnerships in order to increase the sales volume. Requirements: Strong entrepreneurial mindset and sense of ownership; \'Hunter mindset\' and willingness to open doors; Experience in direct sales to pharmaceutical companies would be higly regarded; Knowledge of the cold chain in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries would be a strong plus; Ability to work in a small setup (for the time being); Ability to work in an international environment with colleagues from a large range of cultures and backgrounds; Ability to travel extensively +/- 30% of the time; Perfect presentation skills and excellent commend of English; Malay and Mandarin are necessary to liaise with clients in Malaysia, Indonesia, and China.
