Business Development Manager
with a strong background in
retail sales and team training
to lead our marketing and sales initiatives, drive revenue growth, and strengthen our brand presence.
Role Overview
The
Business Development Manager
will oversee both marketing and retail sales operations to achieve measurable growth in student enrollment and brand performance. This role requires a strategic leader who is also a hands-on coach -- someone who can train, motivate, and empower the sales and marketing teams to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and Manage the Marketing & Sales Teams:
Set clear goals, provide leadership and guidance, and ensure alignment with company objectives.
Drive Business Growth:
Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies that increase revenue, leads, and enrollment.
Retail Sales Leadership:
Implement effective retail sales tactics to optimize center performance and customer experience.
Training & Development:
Conduct regular
sales and marketing training sessions
to enhance product knowledge, sales techniques, and communication skills.
Develop
training materials, sales scripts, and performance tracking systems
to improve team capability.
Mentor team members to achieve individual and collective KPIs.
Data-Driven Management:
Use analytics to measure campaign performance, lead conversion, and overall ROI.
Market Insights:
Monitor market trends and competitors to adapt strategies effectively.
Lead Management:
Work closely with Education Centre Principals to ensure timely follow-up and high conversion rates.
Brand & Campaign Management:
Oversee social media, and performance marketing initiatives.
Partnership Development:
Build relationships with local and international schools to promote KLC's English language programs and enhance brand credibility.
Innovation & Performance:
Drive continuous improvement aligned with company KPIs and OKRs.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in retail sales, business development, or marketing leadership.
Proven experience in
training and developing sales or marketing teams.
Strong leadership and communication skills with a hands-on, coaching-oriented approach.
Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving ROI.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with digital marketing tools, CRM systems, and data analytics platforms is an advantage.
