Aggressively seek and acquire new business opportunities with petrol station owners, operators and retail groups.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in the fuel retail sector.
Analyze market trends and sales statistics to plan for business growth and identify potential new maintenance service needs (e.g., equipment maintenance, compliance with safety/environmental regulations).
Develop proposals, negotiate service agreements, and close deals for ongoing maintenance, repair, and potential upgrades of station equipment (pumps, tanks, etc.).
Possess or rapidly develop expert-level knowledge in product applications, maintenance technology, and industry standards related to petrol station operations and equipment.
Work closely with internal operations and service teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
Monitor progress on potential business opportunities and provide regular reports and forecasts to senior management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Requires a minimum of 5 years of working experience in sales or business development within the related field, with experience in the oil & gas industry or facility maintenance being highly advantageous.
Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is required.
Strong negotiation, communication, problem-solving, and analytical thinking skills are essential.
Familiarity with the operational, safety (HSSE), and regulatory requirements of running a petrol station is an asset.
