Job Description

Business Growth & Sales

Identify, qualify, and secure new offshore opportunities (rigs, FPSOs, drillships, offshore supply vessels, and other marine assets). Develop and execute a local go-to-market strategy to win long-term contracts with oil & gas operators, ship managers, and vessel owners. Build a strong opportunity pipeline, from prospecting to closing, to meet and exceed revenue and margin targets. Lead commercial negotiations, RFP responses, and contract structuring with support from legal, finance, and operations.
Client & Market Engagement

Build trusted relationships with local and regional client stakeholders, including procurement managers, marine superintendents, and offshore operations leaders. Understand client pain points (e.g., HSE compliance, crew welfare, cost control) and position our value-added solutions accordingly. Act as the main local contact for regional/global accounts, aligning with internal key account teams.
Market Intelligence & Positioning

Monitor and analyze offshore market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming projects in Malaysia and Singapore. Advise management on pricing strategies, service innovations, and emerging opportunities (e.g., decommissioning, renewable offshore platforms). Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums (e.g., MOGSEC, OGA, APAC Marine).
Internal Collaboration

Work closely with Operations and HSE teams to ensure proposed solutions are practical, compliant, and operationally executable. Partner with regional leadership to design compelling proposals and service models tailored to each client. Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and win/loss analysis.
Key Requirements

Experience: Minimum 8 years in business development or key account management in offshore oil & gas, marine services, or remote site hospitality (catering, housekeeping, support services). Industry Knowledge: Familiar with offshore contract catering, marine support logistics, and HSE requirements for offshore assets. Network: Established connections within Malaysian O&G operators, FPSO & Rig operators, drilling contractors, and/or ship management companies. Skills: Excellent negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills. Strong commercial acumen and contract understanding. Other: Willingness to travel domestically and offshore when required; fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is a plus).
KPIs / Success Metrics

New revenue generated from offshore contracts (annual sales targets). Win rate of bids/tenders for offshore opportunities. Client satisfaction scores and contract retention rates. Growth of pipeline (qualified opportunities and conversion).

Pay: RM13,000.00 - RM18,000.00 per month
