Role Overview:
We are seeking a Mandarin-speaking Business Development Manager to lead and expand our bancassurance channel, with a strong focus on life insurance. This role demands a strategic thinker with the ability to plan and run growth initiatives, particularly in East Malaysia. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales, strengthening bank partnerships, and ensuring the seamless integration of life insurance products within banking operations.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies to grow bancassurance sales and expand market reach.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with financial partners to support business goals.
• Monitor sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and ensure targets are met.
• Provide training and support to partner staff to enhance product understanding and sales capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and deliver regular performance updates to management.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in insurance sales, preferably in bancassurance.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to plan and run growth initiatives.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Professional certifications in insurance (e.g., Takaful, FIMM, or equivalent).
