What are you going to do As a Business Development Manager at Pengerang Terminals, your primary purpose is to drive the sustainable growth of the company by identifying and initiating project-based capital investment proposals. Your role extends to managing or participating in diverse business development projects, encompassing both greenfield and brownfield initiatives, as well as mergers and acquisitions. Additionally, you will be instrumental in developing the Corporate Strategic Planning Process, ensuring alignment with short, medium, and long-term business requirements, and fostering cohesion across the organization to achieve PITSB\'s overarching objectives. Specific job responsibilities: Comply with PTSB\'s values and principles on SHE-related matters Guide, support, and implement safe work practices aligning with PTSB\'s Safety, Security, Health, Environment, and Quality Management System, in compliance with relevant legal requirements Identify strategic markets, opportunities, and customers, analyze trends, and communicate growth opportunities through investments Manage the investment proposal process, presenting viable business cases, demonstrating financial viability, mitigating regulatory risks, and ensuring internal approvals until the final investment decision (FID) Oversee stakeholder management, acting as the primary contact, coordinating cross-functional alignment, providing updates to senior management, and leading or supporting commercial contract negotiations Handle project management responsibilities, following the company\'s stage-gate process, developing project goals, managing all phases until at least FID, ensuring on-time and in-budget delivery, and contributing to post-implementation reviews Optionally lead M&A development, identifying potential partners, negotiating legal documents, and supporting due diligence processes in line with the long-term business strategy If at the manager level, take responsibility for personal and subordinates\' training and development needs, acting as an OLMS Learner and Supervisor The offer A competitive salary and an attractive package of secondary benefits Collaboration with a motivated team of professionals A challenging and dynamic work environment Profile Bachelor or Master degree in Technical/Engineering or Commercial/Business Economics 5-10 years of commercial experience Strong understanding of the Petroleum/Petrochemical industry Independent, highly self-motivated and result-oriented Excellent communication and analytical skills Willingness to travel on short notice, mainly within Malaysia and Singapore Fluent in written and oral English; additional languages are a plu Location Johor or Selangor
