Job Description


Our Client is a leading trading company in Malaysia specialized in supplying equipment & foundry consumables. They have been established since 1990, serving a range of large and medium size customers.Position: Business Development Manager (Senior Manager Level)In line with the business expansion, Our Client is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to drive their strategic growth and expansion within the metal casting industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, coupled with exceptional business acumen and a passion for developing innovative solutions. This role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and driving the adoption of their integrated platform offering.Responsibilities

  • Market Analysis and Strategy: Conduct thorough market research (engineering technical and commercial) to identify potential customers and industry trends. Develop and execute a strategic business plan to achieve sales and revenue targets.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers in the metal casting industry. Understand their specific needs and challenges to develop tailored solutions.
  • Solution Development: Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to develop and refine their integrated platform offering, including consumables, equipment, process development, and technical support.
  • Technical Expertise: Possess an ability to understand metal casting processes, materials, and equipment. Utilize this knowledge to provide technical guidance to customers and internal teams.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships and collaborations. Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
  • Project Management: Oversee the implementation of customer projects, ensuring successful delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Revenue Generation: Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the business.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering (Metallurgy, Materials Science, Mechanical, Chemical or related field)
  • Proven track record in business development or sales within the metal casting industry or other heavy industries
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with empathy
  • Ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented
Desired Skills (Not Required)
  • Experience with process development and optimization
  • Knowledge of digital platforms and learning management systems
  • Project management certification
  • Preferably able to speak and read in mandarin
