The position will be responsible for developing new Integrated Facilities Management business opportunities and bid process within the target market and establish genuine relationships with clients at the C-suite Level as well as mid management level primarily in with GLCs and government agencies, while developing strategies to increase market share.
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
The role holder will be expected to:
Identify target accounts and pipeline
Maintain accurate and prompt communication to key account customers on bid requirements and leverage understanding of the key account customer to develop business opportunities and web of influence (WOI)
Research, develop and implement innovative solutions in response to or in anticipation of new and existing client requirements, resulting in directly increasing market share
Drive significant new revenue and grow revenue through relationship management and managing future revenue pipelines
Research and keep up to date with industry specific developments in order to support and anticipate client needs
Have a thorough understanding of competitor activity
Ensure a detailed understanding of client's business in order to cross sell the company's services
Utilization and update of Sales Force on all new opportunities and WOI
Preparation, management and delivery of proposal documentation to the customer including but not limited to Technical Proposals, Project Plans and Pricing Schedules
Reporting as and when necessary
Job Requirements:
Preferably a Degree qualification with more than 5 years working experience in relevant business development function
Ideally having sold services and having worked ideally within the facilities management either soft or hard services, property management or any other outsourcing services is an advantage
A dynamic driven individual with a passion for sales, independent, technical mindset, ability to think outside the box and to collaborate with other departments
Good interpersonal and strong communication and writing skill in English and Bahasa Malaysia
Relevant business development experience with a range of large and complex clients
Strong analytical skills - including the ability to create the most compelling and competitive offers that work for both parties
A demonstrated understanding of the business acquisition and bid management life cycles
Advanced working knowledge of Sales Force and Microsoft Office applications especially in Word, Excel and Power Point
Able to travel when necessary within Malaysia
