About This Role
The Business Development Manager is primarily responsible for selling training products and services to new and existing clients in Malaysia and Brunei. This role is responsible for identifying and cultivating sales opportunities, building an in-depth understanding of client training needs, and positioning how our products and services can meet client needs and unleash their human potential.
Responsibilities:
Source new business leads and build good relationships with new client prospects
Introduce, present and sell training solutions on personal effectiveness, change management, organizational leadership and communication skills to client organizations in Malaysia and Brunei
Interact with clients to assess and understand their human capital development needs, and match those needs with the solutions we offer
Make calls to schedule appointments with prospects
Hold business conversations with clients over the phone and face-to-face
Support client organizations through the HRDF process to claim for their training expenses
Requirements:
Minimum 2-3 years' experience in consultative sales, with a desire to pursue a rewarding career in sales
Minimum Bachelor's Degree in any field
Excellent command of English, both verbal and written
Able to interact well with people at all levels
Keen to develop personal competencies in business development and
Strong personal discipline, with a willingness to work hard
Possess own car, and willing to travel outstation

What Your First 6 Months with Us Will Look Like
Months 1-3:
Become familiar with our people, products and processes
Undertake sales training
Attend product training to increase your product knowledge
Start accompanying colleagues to client meetings
Source and connect with new prospective clients. Build your network
Start pitching to clients
Prepare and send client proposals
Months 4-6:
Continue to source for new prospective clients and build your network
Start meeting with your own prospective clients 1-on-1
Help organise and participate in client preview sessions
Within 6 months, close your first sale

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM7,500.00 per month
