About the Opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic and client-focused Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team and help drive the growth of our innovative suite of web applications, which include student management, learning management, and various other solutions (SaaS).

This is a fantastic role for a professional who enjoys building long-term relationships, exploring new market opportunities, and is excited to work with modern technology. You will have the opportunity not only to manage the entire sales lifecycle but also to contribute strategically to key company events.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Acquisition & Business Growth



? Generate New Opportunities: Actively identify and reach out to potential clients to

introduce our web application products and demonstrate how they can solve their

organisational challenges.

Success in this role requires the BDM to utilise creativity and innovative thinking to

develop fresh approaches for achieving sales targets and business objectives.

? Manage the Sales Process: Guide prospects through the sales cycle, from initial

interest through product demonstration, proposal development, and contract finalisation.

? Contribute to Strategy: Work with leadership to implement sales plans that support the

company's sustainable growth goals.

2. Relationship Management (Existing Clients & Partnership)



? Nurture Existing Accounts: Serve as a dedicated point of contact for our current

clients, ensuring their success and satisfaction with our products and fostering long-term

relationships.

? Identify Expansion: Thoughtfully explore opportunities to expand our partnership with

existing clients through additional software solutions (upselling/cross-selling).

? Ensure Retention: Proactively manage client subscriptions and contract renewals.

3. Event Support & Coordination

? Collaborate with the marketing team to organise and participate in strategic company

events, webinars, and trade shows, using these opportunities to network and showcase

our products.

? Represent the company professionally, making connections that generate potential

future business.

Requirements & Qualifications



? Experience & Drive: A solid background in Sales or Business Development is

preferred, ideally with experience in B2B or technology solutions. We value commitment

and a desire to learn over years of experience.

? Technical Comfort (IT Literate): Must be highly IT literate with a genuine comfort level

in quickly learning, using, and clearly explaining the features and benefits of complex

web applications (SaaS).

? Communication (Dual Lingo): Exceptional communication skills are required. Fluency

in English is a must, along with proficiency in Bahasa Melayu, to best serve our diverse

clientele.

? Skills: Strong organisational skills, a natural ability to build rapport, and clear

presentation abilities.
