Job Description
Heading/intro:
Our client is a multinational company specializing in international freight forwarding and overseas logistics, with a presence across Europe, Asia-Pacific, North America, and Africa.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in air and sea freight forwarding.
- Qualify new opportunities within logistics in-house companies, small to medium sized companies with decent size of logistics activities.
- Develop and maintain long term customer relationship.
- Establish sales strategies, target lists, volume goals into relevant market segments.
- Manage activities including calls, sales presentations and meetings.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing in line with company policies and profitability goals.
- 5 - 8 years of sales / business development experience in freight forwarding / logistics / transportation.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Proven sales track record in developing new business with customers.
- Experienced in trade lanes across Asia, Europe or Africa region.
- Excellent communication skills to do business presentation and contract negotiations.
