Positions are available to be based in Johor and Selangor. The role will have the potential to progress to an Assistant Business Manager and eventually Business Manager position. Role description:
- This is a commercial role - getting sales and meeting targets, developing new projects and business in line with our company strategies.
- Able to convince and pitch on our company presentation
- Getting to know the market trends, competitors, and customer insights.
- Establish good relationships with customers.
- Good commercial/negotiation/ marketing skills by leveraging our understanding of technical knowledge in food to develop new applications and markets.
- Understand our USPs, be able to explain what we do and what value we bring
- Good understanding of our company culture and values
- Coordinate technical and commercial efforts with our global Business Partners
- Min with BSc. Food Tech/Food Science/Biotechnology/Nutrition/or equivalent
- At least 4 years of sales work experience in food ingredients.
- Knowledge & understanding of food processing/manufacturing will be an advantage.
- Background in one of the following areas will be helpful: dairy / beverage / bakery / savoury / meat processing
- Good command of business English. Added language skills are always a bonus (with Mandarin being the most relevant, depending on customers)
- An outgoing personality! And an ease with social interactions
- Proactive in business and commercial development
- Possess own vehicle and travelling is required (central & outstation)
