Business Information Department Intern

Royal Selangor is looking for interns to join our Business Information Department team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for individuals to gain hands-on experience. The programme spans 3 to 6 months and is based at our headquarters in Setapak Jaya, Kuala Lumpur.

During the internship period, you will be exposed to and learn the following:

Provide IT support to Royal Selangor users worldwide for hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, and other devices. Support software, network, firewall, R-Drive, and connectivity issues, while managing antivirus, VPN setups, and licenses. Set up technical requirements for new joiners, arrange meeting setups, and manage device inventory and license installations. Handle vendor relationships for IT equipment procurement and coordinate periodic maintenance tasks. Process IT infrastructure work orders and work closely with vendors to ensure effective project enhancements and support.

Requirements:

Candidates who possess or are currently pursuing a Diploma/Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or any related field. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. Must have strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to create and present clear, concise reports. The candidate must possess good ethics, be detail-oriented, and have a positive work attitude.

Pay: RM700.00 - RM800.00 per month
