Job Description

We are looking for professionals who strive to leverage their skills and expertise in growing a company with the Business Intelligence department. The BI department works closely with all departments at Involve by providing business intelligence expertise. With a strong understanding and ability to work with data, every BI analyst is the master in transforming raw business information into valuable insights. General responsibilities of a BI Analyst at Involve include:

• To provide consultancy & support for departments within Corporate Office (Finance, Operations, Integrations, etc.) on matters such as business process development, operational efficiency, and financial reporting.
• To consult other departments (Sales, Partnership, Marketing, Client Management, etc.) on business analytics, data analysis, process improvement, and others.
• To develop, own, and drive current and new revenue streams for the company such as Digital Finance Services.

To fulfill the responsibilities, the job scopes needed to be performed by a BI Analyst are:

• To plan, develop, and maintain business process flows on Google Sheet.
• To build user-friendly trackers on matters related to performance on BI tools such as Looker Studio & Google Sheet.
• To build intelligent visualization dashboards and reports related to initiatives run by respective departments.
• To provide business insights in strategizing plans and directions for the company to move forward.
• To extract, process, manage, and maintain data pipelines from data lake storages using PySpark.

Due to high technical nature of the job scopes, a BI Analyst at Involve are required to possess the following skills:

• Google Sheet (formulas and charts)
• Google App Script
• Data Query (PySpark, SQL, Pandas, R, etc.)
• Looker Studio (or other BI softwares such as Power BI, Tableau, AWS Quicksight)
• Business presentations & communications
• Bonus: Financial mathematics, project management, statistics

The list above is long and focused. Candidates are not expected to have all the skills when applying for the position. However, candidates may expect to have to learn the mentioned skills once they onboard as a BI Analyst at Involve. Above all, we prefer to have candidates with high drives. The candidates must be independent to some extent and are expected to take initiatives in identifying and subsequently solving business challenges. The candidates\' strong mentality and great personality will hold higher weightages than their outstanding capabilities.
