Job Description


A Business manager who represents the company\'s products, develops relationship with key stakeholders, HCP and surgeons in hospitals in Malaysia. This person will also need to manage the P&L of the company, develop and execute strategy to achieve business outcomes and growth opportunities.

  • Develop, evaluate and execute country\'s marketing, sales and distribution strategies and plan based on market potential
  • Build effective relationships with HCPs in private and government hospitals (medical channels).
  • Demonstrate and share product information, presentation and influence KOLs and surgeons to increase brand and product awareness
  • Partner effectively with the distributor to build and deliver annual budgets, sales objectives, and forecasts, and monitor monthly inventory, surgery numbers, sales and forecasts via a Country Monthly Report
  • Achieve assigned sales targets by implementing agreed sales plans/promotions.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for company products.
  • Create stakeholder management plans for KOLs and deliver Continuous Medical Education (CME) and product training to drive product adoption and market share gain
  • Direct, lead and coach team members (clinical sales specialist) by monitoring their performance, relationships with KOLs, outcomes and expectations in their career development plans

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of sales manaager experience in medical device industry, preferably ENT, opthalmo and diabetes portfolios
  • Soft skills: Possess leadership, networking, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Education: Preferably Tertiary qualifications in Science- related. Alternatively, extensive medical device sales experience can be considered.
  • Travel requirements: Maintenance of a valid driver\'s license
