An exciting Business Planning Specialist (Commercial Finance +FP&A) job has just become available at one of the FMCG MNCs based in Selangor.

About the Business Planning Specialist (Commercial Finance +FP&A) Role:
In this position, you will be driving strategic financial decisions, including advanced sales forecasting, customised financial modelling, and end-to-end business engagement for growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the development and implementation of comprehensive forecasting and budgeting processes, playing a key role in financial planning and analysis
• Create intricate financial models tailored to the specific needs of the business, moving beyond standard templates to provide nuanced insights for decision-making
• Take a holistic approach to business planning, actively engaging in ideation, strategy development, and tracking throughout the entire business lifecycle
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, demonstrating strong business partnering skills, and managing relationships with challenging stakeholders to drive collective success
• Conduct in-depth analysis and engagement with the commercial team, diving into operational aspects to identify opportunities for driving sales and optimising revenue streams
• Demonstrate a hands-on approach by going to the field to gain a deep understanding of the business operations, ensuring alignment between financial strategies and on-ground realities
• Display a passionate commitment to driving the business forward, proactively identifying areas for improvement, and contributing to the overall success of the organisation

To succeed in this Business Planning Specialist (Commercial Finance +FP&A) role, you must be future-oriented and possess strong functional and good business know-how, business acumen, strong technical skills in systems and tools, strong process thinking, understanding of the big picture and the ability to look beyond your own responsibilities.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree in finance/accounting/corporate finance
• Proven experience in commercial finance and FP&A roles
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate financial insights to non-finance stakeholders
• Ability to manage difficult stakeholders and foster positive working relationships
• Results-oriented mindset with a passion for contributing to business growth
