Description

Responsible for the design, development, and testing of SAP ABAP or UI5 applications. The SAP Principal Technical Consultant works independently to deliver new applications, as well as to enhance existing applications based on business requirements or functional specifications. This position will produce technical, unit test, and other documentations, as per SAP standard delivery methodology.

Essential Functions

• Analyzes business requirements and functional specifications; provides timely technical solutions.
• Provides accurate estimates for completion of technical specification, development, and unit testing.
• Provides technical solutioning as part of Business Development activities.
• Innovates and updates latest technologies coming up in the field of SAP and Enterprise Mobility.
• Transforms business requirements into technical specification with a comprehensive unit testing plan.
• Develops new or enhances existing applications according to SAP best practices and standards.
• Applies performance tuning consideration in Application Development, to ensure that performance is acceptable.
• Executes a unit test plan to ensure desired functionalities are working as expected.
• Documents application design, technical specifications, and unit test cases to ensure quality standard is met.

Essential Functions (Continued)

• Performs high complexity troubleshooting and analysis to resolve any application issues during integration.
• Creates presentations and other materials, as required, for knowledge transfer to the support team.
• Works cooperatively with other technical team members in the design, delivery, and deployment of solutions.
• Technical lead in high complexity Rizing product development.
• Ensures operationalization of reusable solutions, to standardize quality and minimize development effort.
• Owns and resolves issues and risks to ensure timeliness of delivery.
• Engages and actively manages senior stakeholders to ensure effective delivery tracking and management.
• Ensures effective and sustainable upskilling of technical resources to meet emerging SAP technology demand.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Business, Project Management, or related field.
• At least 14 years of experience working in ABAP and/or as UI5 Consultant in SAP implementation.
• Experience with a minimum of 7 full cycle implementation projects.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

• Significant experience in ABAP implementation, such as Linear Asset Management or Geo-enablement framework.
• Well versed in technologies like ABAP Object, Enhancement Techniques, Dialog Programming, Performance Tuning, Forms (Smartforms & Adobe), Data Service Provisioning and Web Dynpro Development.
• Familiar with Project Management templates like Workflow, Web Service, Process Integration, and SAP Cloud.
• Willing to learn new technologies and open to new challenges.
• Strong teamwork skills with professional services, clients, suppliers, and geographically dispersed teams.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage conflict and change within complex projects.

• Works in a professional office and/or remote office environment.
• Will be required to travel to client locations.
