Job Description


Role Responsibilities

Financing & Securities Services (FSS) business has a unique footprint in Asia, Middle East, and Africa, and offers a growing range of products, including direct custody, international custody, funds services, trustee services, transfer agency, prime services, and agency securities lending, to a number of client sectors including banks, investors, intermediaries, sovereigns, fund managers insurance companies and corporates.

The jobholder acts as one of the business management support staff, primarily responsible for delivering key management information (MI) and reports, as indicators for business performance against corporate plan.

Responsibilities

Strategy

\xc2\xb7 Assists with strategic planning activities including the development and production of strategic plans, including associated research, analysis, and presentation.

\xc2\xb7 Assists with periodic performance updates such as, product performance reviews (PPR), sales performance reporting, and other management team performance reviews.

\xc2\xb7 Tracks business initiatives and projects, on an ad-hoc basis and as agreed / delegated by the Chief Operating Officer of FSS.

Business

\xc2\xb7 Supports the Chief Operating Officer of FSS in managing the performance of regional, country, and client segment businesses in FSS.

\xc2\xb7 Manages the design, review, roll-out, and update of management and individual scorecards to align with business aspirations, including the assessment of relevant / applicable metrics and the coordination of the target setting process, incorporating the relevant inputs from the FSS Management Team.

\xc2\xb7 Supports the delivery of management information to meet the needs of FSS Management Team in making business decisions.

\xc2\xb7 Supports preparation of FSS forum meetings (eg. FSS MT, FSS Risk Forums etc) and where required, participate in these sessions.

\xc2\xb7 Assists in the preparation of periodic revenue and sales pipeline reporting, coordinating with Sales to ensure accuracy of deal information, participating in deal review sessions, and tracking of other financial metrics.

\xc2\xb7 Continuously improves business management efficiency by simplifying and standardizing operational processes and procedures.

\xc2\xb7 Identifies and implements best practices in resources and processes, ensuring consistency and relevance to the business.

\xc2\xb7 Identifies and drives opportunities to automate, especially in area of regular reporting.

\xc2\xb7 Works closely and collaboratively across the FSS teams to drive desired business outcomes.

Risk Management*

\xc2\xb7 Takes responsibility for identifying, assessing, monitoring, controlling and mitigating risks to the Group. Also, maintains an awareness and understanding of the main risks facing the Group and the role the individual and the team play in managing them.

Governance*

\xc2\xb7 Assesses the effectiveness of the Group\xe2\x80\x99s arrangements to deliver effective governance, oversight and controls in the business and, if necessary, oversees changes in these areas.

\xc2\xb7 Maintains awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.

Qualifications*

\xc2\xb7 Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

\xc2\xb7 Creative problem-solver with good multi-tasking skills, able to prioritise issues and resolve them efficiently.

\xc2\xb7 Flexibility and responsiveness to handle changing priorities and urgent requests from senior management.

\xc2\xb7 Graduate with a minimum of 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 working experience within the Financial Markets / Technology industry.

\xc2\xb7 Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office \xe2\x80\x93 advanced Excel skills including macro / Visual Basic, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint are must-haves.
