As Business Services Graduate Trainee in our People Services T2P team, youll have the opportunity to assist in the preparation and processing of payroll for Japan employees, including data entry, validation, and calculations.Main responsibilities:

• Payroll Processing Support:
• Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll for Japan employees, including data entry, validation, and calculations.
• Data Management:
• Help maintain and update employee records, ensuring accurate and timely input of payroll-related data in payroll systems.
• Compliance and Accuracy:
• Support the team in ensuring that payroll is compliant with Japan labor laws and regulations. Help verify the accuracy of employee data, including tax, social insurance, and other deductions.
• Issue Tracking and Resolution:
• Assist in tracking and monitoring payroll issues and collaborate with senior team members to ensure timely resolution.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Help prepare payroll reports, maintain payroll-related documentation, and assist in updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) as needed.
• Employee Support:
• Support employee inquiries related to payroll, helping resolve issues related to payslips, deductions, and other payroll-related concerns.

About you

• Recent graduate or currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software.
• Good communication skills in English (and Japanese if required).
• Eagerness to learn and work in a team-oriented environment.
• Basic knowledge of payroll processes is an advantage but not required.
