Job Summary

The Buyer will be responsible for executing procurement activities to support manufacturing and engineering operations. This role requires close coordination with internal stakeholders to ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant purchasing in accordance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Responsible for obtaining materials, components, equipment, and services. Performs cost analysis and volume planning for major commodities. Acquires and maintains technical understanding of products purchased. Coordinates purchasing activities with manufacturing and engineering departments to maintain inventory at planned levels. Monitors the cost, schedule, and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure best quality at best value. Implement cost saving proposals including make vs. buy analysis, alternative sourcing, and vendor evaluation criteria.

Requirements ?

Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of procurement-related experience are encouraged to apply Proficiency in English and Mandarin (spoken and written) is required Knowledge of equipment purchasing or exposure to manufacturing procurement is an added advantage

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
