The ideal candidate will have basic commodity supply management experience across electromechanical commodities (PCB/Substrate/MLCC/IC etc). He/she need to have experience in semiconductor/Electronic industry. He /she need to have experience in working with cross-functional teams across various regions.

Key Responsibilities:

\xe2\x96\xaa Experienced in managing Assembly & Test or SMT electromechanical commodities etc. and conduct daily PO/Supply/Escalation management if necessary

\xe2\x96\xaa Work continuously in defining and executing commodity/supplier strategies for all WD locations/regions to have good healthy supplier panel across all regions

\xe2\x96\xaa Leading purchasing market activities and work closely with internal stakeholders to support the business growth by identifying and engaging suppliers and new technologies

\xe2\x96\xaa Tracking and managing generic parts capacity on regular basis. Assess and plan addition of capacity by working closely with supply chain and regional procurement team ensuring no capacity issues. Ensure no geographical issues impact capacity booking & utilization

\xe2\x96\xaa Need to work with supplier for long term capacity nego, supplier agreements, General Terms and Conditions Agreement, smart lead time, VMI etc

\xe2\x96\xaa Support NPI team, supplier quality, supply chain and regional procurement team for supplier related issues (Comprehensive ownership of supplier performance)

\xe2\x96\xaa Work continuously with all stake holders like suppliers, engineering, quality, etc. to generate good & value ideas

\xe2\x96\xaa Work with cross function team to review & control overall safety stock level, managing excess & shortage related issues

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications and skill sets:

\xe2\x96\xaa Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering

\xe2\x96\xaa 5 years+ experience in Strategic Sourcing / Global supply management

\xe2\x96\xaa Good at buying, negotiation, and agreement/contract administration

\xe2\x96\xaa Good analytical skills

\xe2\x96\xaa Demonstrated ability to manage / lead multiple projects and changing priorities

\xe2\x96\xaa Willing to stretch and work with different time zone

\xe2\x96\xaa Effective team participant \xe2\x96\xaa Able to challenge the status quo and come up with new ideas

\xe2\x96\xaa Skilled in Microsoft Office.
