Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented

Buyer cum Supply Chain Assistant

to join our growing manufacturing team in Tebrau.

You will play a key role in supporting purchasing, inventory control, and logistics activities -- ensuring smooth operations from supplier to production line.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and manage daily purchasing operations to maintain optimal stock levels. Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices and delivery terms. Monitor inventory to ensure sufficient materials for production schedules. Coordinate and follow up on raw material deliveries to support production. Oversee movement of materials between warehouse and production line. Maintain accurate purchasing, inventory, and supplier records. Prepare purchasing and inventory reports for management review. Coordinate with suppliers to resolve material shortages and prevent production downtime. Ensure all purchasing and logistics activities comply with company policies and safety standards. Support the Production Planner and Supply Chain team as needed.

Requirements

Diploma / Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply

(training will be provided). Candidates with up to 2 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or warehouse operations are encouraged. Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Detail-oriented, proactive, and proficient in Microsoft Excel. Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight timelines.

5.5-day workweek with alternate Saturdays off

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM4,200.00 per month
