We are currently seeking Buyer to join our team based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. About The Job Executes procurement strategies for assigned components (goods / services), to ensure that quality, cost effective products are delivered in a timely manner. Main Accountabilities Fulfills inquiring and purchasing activities within time and budget. Prepares the Project Vendor List and selects the vendors from whom to order for their own sector of commodities with the collaboration of Project Procurement Managers and Purchasing Section Heads. Fulfills inquiring and purchasing activities within time and budget. Makes sure that all the information necessary for issuing the inquiry is available. Checks purchasing conditions are applicable to the project and if not, reports to the Project Procurement Manager Expedites bids, performs bid opening and issuance of Bid Opening Report, CBT and shortlisting of bidders. Conducts all negotiations (including Terms and Conditions) with vendors. Issues final CBT for award recommendation Prepares the purchase order documents in due time and checks for quality. Contributes to recovery of amounts relevant to back-charges / liquidated damages notified to the vendors. About You Bachelor\'s degree in any relevant disciplines Minimum 4 years in the related field (Procurement role) Experience in Project Purchasing activities.
