  • Coordinate purchasing activities with manufacturing, planning and engineering departments to acquire inventory in a cost effective and timely manner

  • Processing purchase requisitions, purchase change orders and requests for quotes to suppliers
  • Working with management to address all aspects of commodity management, including procurement support commodity business plans, market trends assessment, pricing, and product availability
  • Performing cost analysis and volume planning for major commodities
  • Monitoring the cost, schedule and scope of assigned subcontracts to negotiate the highest quality at best value
  • Developing new supply sources where vendors and suppliers are no longer competitive
  • Recommending cost saving proposals including make-versus-buy analysis or alternative sourcing
  • Interacting closely with suppliers and Quality Assurance to resolve quality issues
  • Supporting internal and external audits related to procurement processes and supplier management
Minimum requirements:
  • Bachelor\'s degree Business Administration, Supply Chain or related field
  • Fresh graduates to less than 2 years of relevants experiences
  • Expertise in procurement methodologies and processes as well as negotiation tactics
  • Competency in computer applications, especially MS Excel and MS Powerpoint, knowledge of SAP is an advantage
  • Good knowledge of business, finance and supply chain concept
