We are currently seeking Buyer , to join our team based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. About the Job Performs tasks involved in the formation and administration of purchase orders. Prepares bidder pre-qualification, bidder lists, bid solicitation, bid analysis for the formation of purchase orders. Main Accountabilities Prepares the project Procurement procedures in conjunction with Project requirement and Corporate functional management; contributes to the project procedures Responsible in vendors sourcing, issuance of inquiries, bid evaluation and selection of vendors Negotiation with vendors to obtain best price and delivery without compromising quality Resolve procurement and contractual issues with vendors strategically Management in subsequent change orders with vendors Lead and coordinate with expediting inspection and logistics in achieving procurement goals Building collaborative working relationship with others Development of Procurement Strategies and Execution Plan in proposals/tendering. About You Technical Diploma or relevant Degree/ Diploma Demonstrate knowledge and experience with supply chain management, supplier quality systems, Computer literate (Ms Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc) ERP system knowledge (SAP or Oracle advantageous) Minimum 4 years\' experience in Procurement in medium or large organization. Experience working in an engineering or technical environment.
