Job Description

JD:

Buying & Merchandising

-Plan, select, and purchase merchandise that aligns with brand direction and customer needs.

-Forecast consumer demand, monitor stock levels, and manage inventory turnover.

-Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers to ensure cost efficiency and quality.

-Monitor competitors and industry trends to make data-driven buying decisions.

Design & Trend Analysis

-Leverage design experience to assess product quality, materials, fit, and overall aesthetics.

-Work closely with design/creative teams to ensure selected products match brand vision.

-Anticipate and identify fashion trends, color palettes, and seasonal demands.

-Provide input on product development based on market insights and customer preferences.

Collaboration & Reporting

-Coordinate with merchandising, retail, and marketing teams for product launches and campaigns.

-Maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers.

-Prepare regular reports on sales performance, buying budgets, and product lifecycle.

Requirements

-Degree/Diploma in Fashion Design, Merchandising, Business, or related field.

-Proven experience as a Buyer, Merchandiser, or Designer in fashion/retail.

-Strong understanding of design principles, fabrics, and garment construction.

-Excellent trend forecasting and analytical skills.

-Strong negotiation and communication skills.

-Ability to balance creativity with commercial awareness.

-Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant merchandising systems.

-Fluent in Chinese.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
