Job Description

Job Responsibilities To coordinate buying, promotional & merchandising activities for Fresh (Meat and Seafood) /Grocery/Dried Goods, Fruits and Vegetables and follow through with timely inward and outward deliveries. To negotiate with local and international suppliers on price, quantity, quality, and trading terms to meet the Company's objective. To develop an action plan and recommendation to reduce the store's disposal. To compile the information from all stores and analyse customer purchasing behaviour and market trend. To monitor suppliers\' delivery performance. To ensure the optimum stock level for all stores are maintained. To keep abreast of competition, product price and trends, and provide feedback to the Management. Requirements : Candidate must possess at least a Diploma OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies /Administration / Management, Marketing or equivalent. At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the Retail Supermarket/Wholesales & Trade industry. Possess with good attitude, communication, and negotiation skills. Abundance of contacts with vendors / suppliers of various product categories will be advantageous. Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia in both verbal and written skills, Fluent in Mandarin is added advantage. Applicants must be willing to work in Kelana Jaya and willing to travel as when require. Preferably Managers specializing in Sales - Retail/General or equivalent. 6 Working days (Monday - Saturday)
