Machine Setup & Operation:
Setup: Install fixtures, accessories, and tooling on CNC machines like lathes and mills.
Operation: Operate and monitor CNC machinery to perform machining tasks such as drilling, turning, and cutting.
Adjustments: Monitor production, adjust machine settings and feed rates, and perform tool changes and offsets as needed.
Quality Control & Maintenance:
Inspection: Conduct quality inspections of finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure they meet specifications.
Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on CNC equipment to ensure operational efficiency and minimize downtime.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of approved and defective units and production processes.
Collaboration & Optimization:
Teamwork: Work closely with engineering and production teams to refine designs and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Process Improvement: Implement strategies to enhance productivity and align results with company quality expectations.
Key Skills & Knowledge
Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Proficiency with CAD/CAM software packages (e.g., SolidWorks).
